Shoreline Cleanup Removes 1,100  lbs of Polystyrene Plastic

On August  30, staff and volunteers coordinated a shoreline cleanup in Double Bay, responding to plastic pollution accumulating along Hanson Island. Together, we removed 1,100  lbs of polystyrene, much  of it washed into the forest well above  the high tide line. This effort reflects what community-powered restoration looks like.
